Number of Participants in the 127th Boston Marathon Runners Not Awarded Medals!!!
As the news reads, you must know that some of Boston’s 127th Boston Marathon runners did not get medals. The 127th running of the Boston Marathon saw 30,000 runners compete throughout 26.2 miles from Hopkinton to Boston.
It appears that at least some runners will have to wait several days, if not several weeks, to receive their medals.
The British Athletic Association (BAA) announced late Monday night that some runners who finished the marathon and crossed the finish line at the end of the competition did not get a finisher medallion.
