Aaron Gordon Career

In 2014, Gordon was selected as the fourth overall pick in the 2014 NBA draft by the Orlando Magic. On July 2, he signed with the Magic and joined them for the 2014 NBA Summer League.

Gordon was ruled out indefinitely on November 16 after breaking a bone in his left foot in the Magic’s loss to the Washington Wizards the night before. He had appeared in the first 11 games of the 2014-15 season.

In 2017, he set a career-high with 41 points, including the game-winning 3-pointer with 36 seconds left to lift the Magic to a 125-121 victory over the Brooklyn Nets.

During the 2020 NBA All-Star Weekend, Gordon finished second to Derrick Jones Jr. in the Slam Dunk Contest. In the second round, they both had perfect scores on their first two dunks, forcing an overtime round.
