Johnny Depp Is Owed Both Punitive And Compensatory Damages
The jury decided the “Danish Girl” actress had to pay the “Pirates of the Caribbean” actor $10 million in compensatory damages and an additional $350,000 in punitive damages. Heard claims she does not have the $5 million needed to settle the counterclaim she filed against Depp, which resulted in a $2 million judgment against him plus the state damage cap in effect in Virginia.
