The Cash App’s creator, Bob Lee, was stabbed to death on April 4, 2023, in the San Francisco Bay Area. Bob Lee’s wife Krista and their two children are left behind. Bob was fatally stabbed in a deserted alley in San Francisco’s Rincon Hill district. Tech executive Bob Lee was pronounced dead at the hospital early on Tuesday morning after a “horrific” stabbing. He was only 43 years old.
The police released a statement saying that at 2:35 a.m., officers were called to the 300 block of Main Street, close to a luxury apartment complex. Although Lee’s name wasn’t mentioned in the report, it was unmistakably about the prosperous businessman. His father, Rick, also posted the sad news of his passing online.
A memorial was written by Rick, Bob Lee’s father, saying,
“Life has been an adventure with two bachelors living together, and I’m so happy that we were able to become so close these last years. Bob would give you the shirt off his back. He would never look down on anyone and adhere to a strict no-judgment philosophy.”
Lee’s private life was a mystery even though he was a public figure.
