The latest results and list of winners of the Wheelchair Boston Marathon 2023 are available here. Only a tiny percentage of the 30,000 runners that signed up for the 127th Boston Marathon intends to compete for the title of “marathon winner.”

On Monday, the world’s best marathon runners converged on Hopkinton to compete against one other and the challenging 26.2-mile course that weaves its way to the Boylston Street finish line. They were all vying for the title of Boston Marathon champion.

The Boston Marathon was won for the sixth time by Swiss wheelchair racer Marcel Hug. He set a new course record in the race’s first half, clocking in at 36 minutes and 31 seconds, and went on to win again.
