Fans may dive into the latest entry in the paid Call of Duty series on that day. Warzone 2 may come out on the same day as other games with free-to-play features, but it’s unclear whether the free updates will arrive simultaneously.

Fans may anticipate “a tremendous development of Battle Royale with an entirely new playspace and a new sandbox mode.” That seems like a complete reworking of Warzone, the free-to-play shooter initially broken off from Modern Warfare in 2019.
