Cordarrelle Patterson, a versatile player for the Atlanta Falcons who plays both running back and wide receiver, sustained a knee injury. The game was over for him after the first quarter, and he did not come back.
Patterson had a routine procedure done on his knee, and the Falcons placed him on injured reserve after the announcement was made on Monday. This means that he will be out of action for at least three games.

Both Cordarrelle Patterson and Mack Hollins suffered ankle injuries while playing for the Atlanta Falcons during a game against the Minnesota Vikings. According to the report that was given by the team reporter Terrin Waack, the status of their participation in the game was in question:

Cordarrelle Patterson Thigh Injury
Due to a thigh ailment, Patterson has not yet participated in any games and has only had a limited amount of practice time this week. Even if he’s been given a few different labels in the past, it hasn’t been established that he’s prepared for a game.
Because of this, there is now significant uncertainty regarding his availability to play versus Jacksonville.
