Emily Ratajkowski’s Little Black Dress Has a Lot of Cutouts!
Leave it to Emily Ratajkowski to up the ante in a little black dress.
Yesterday, the model stepped out in New York City wearing a sultry take on the classic wardrobe staple. Her black long-sleeved minidress featured tiers of tie-up cutouts that started at her collarbone and extended nearly all the way down to her belly button.
She also gave the look a Western twist by wearing it with a pair of dark brown suede over-the-knee cowboy boots. She paired her black frame sunglasses with a tiny black shoulder bag and silver hoop earrings.
Ratajkowski has been embracing Western footwear as an unconventional transitional piece as we move from summer to fall.
Earlier this week, for instance, the My Body author was seen taking a walk in New York City wearing a sleek black iteration of cowboy boots from Mango, which she unexpectedly styled with a creamy bustier and a slinky midi skirt from Lilysilk.
EmRata also took her one-year-old son, Sylvester Apollo Bear, to a farm earlier this month, where she aptly embraced the cowboy aesthetic. She posted photographs on Instagram of herself standing on a tractor while wearing a lavender tank top, faded slouchy jeans, and black cowboy boots.
In an earlier interview with POPSUGAR, EmRata discussed her minimalist aesthetic.
“I love wearing sneakers with a dress, especially as it’s getting warmer in New York,” she said. “It’s the most comfortable-but-still-chic look that you can do. Other accessories, like what you do bag-wise and jewelry-wise, can dress it down. A larger bag makes it more casual, but if you do something tiny and kind of sexy, it can be great for night.”
