FIRE FORCE SEASON 3 RELEASE DATE PREDICTIONS BASED ON PRODUCTION CYCLE
After months of rumors, it has now been confirmed that the popular anime series Fire Force will return for a third season.
For those who are fans of anime, there is nothing better than exchanging new theories and leaks about their favorite shows with others around the world.
Social media, in particular Twitter, is where leaks are discussed, and both actual and bogus news can quickly spread to fans around the world.
Earlier this month, a well-known leaker reported that the Fire Force anime was once again in production, which has now been confirmed by the Japanese production studio behind the series.
FIRE FORCE SEASON 3 OFFICIALLY CONFIRMED
After much speculation, Fire Force season 3 was eventually announced on May 17th. Japan’s Twitter page, along with its American counterparts, announced that a new series had been ordered and that the third season had begun filming.
Fans of the anime series, on the other hand, had been anticipating this announcement for some time thanks to a slew of leaks earlier this month.
“Fire Force (Enen no Shouboutai) TV Anime Season 3 [is] in production,” SugoiLITE tweeted on April 29th, a popular and normally credible Twitter leaker and insider.
The good news is that Fire Force’s return was all but certain because anime renewals are based on two factors: popularity and source material.
Fire Force is a huge hit with fans, but don’t just take our word for it. Check out some of the reviews. There are currently 890,000 reviews on MyAnimeList for both seasons of Fire Force, with an IMDB rating of 7.6/10, an 83 percent Rotten Tomatoes rating, and a 4.1/5 on Crunchyroll.
Fire Force was popular enough to warrant a third anime season despite these numbers having little significance to the Japanese performance, probably a more essential component in renewals than overseas success.
The third season of anime may easily be made from the existing source material. Anime Geek (formerly Monsters & Critics) reported that the anime only adapted the manga up to chapter 174 of volume 20.

In Japan, there have been 304 chapters released across 34 volumes, with the series coming to a close earlier this year after a six-year run.
Fire Force has adapted about 10 volumes of manga per season, thus the production team has enough material for at least one more season of the anime, and possibly two if the manga content can be stretched.
FIRE FORCE SEASON 3 RELEASE DATE PREDICTIONS
While the revelation of the third season of Fire Force was greatly anticipated by fans, no specific date for its release was announced. The production of prior seasons and the schedule of David Productions, the studio behind Fire Force, allow us to make some predictions.

This animated series will have two seasons, the first of which will be released in December of this year and the second of which will be released in July of 2020 — a 7 to the 8 months.

Given this schedule, it’s possible that some viewers were hoping for a comeback in April 2022 as part of the show’s Spring schedule. However, David Production’s work schedule may have been to blame for the absence of formal information about season 3.
The studio has been working on Strike Witches: Road to Berlin, 2.43: Seiin High School Boys Volleyball Team, and Cells at Work!! since the second season of Fire Force ended in 2020.
To make up for that, they are currently working on a 52-episode version of Urusei Yatsura for a later date this year. According to David Production’s current plans, Fire Force season 3 will premiere in either October 2022 (optimistic) or more likely, January 2023 (more realistic).
