Epic Games Store Reveals New Free Game, Teases Mystery Game for Next Week
The Epic Mega Sale has brought back mystery games from the Epic Games Store to promote its massive bargains, and now that the sale is over, the mystery games have returned. After being teased last week, the first mystery game in the latest Epic Games Store campaign is now available for customers to claim until Thursday, May 26 at 10:00 am CT when it will be replaced by whatever the mystery game for next week is.
Borderlands 3 is the first mystery game to be included in the Epic Mega Sale promotion. Gearbox Software’s looter-shooter Borderlands 3 is one of the most well-known games available for free on the Epic Games Store, despite being a few years old. It’s now possible for everyone who hasn’t yet played Borderlands 3 to do so for free using the Epic Games Store launcher.
Epic Games Store free games are now virtually full in the Epic Games Store libraries of those who have been diligent in claiming them each week. Borderlands: The Handsome Collection was a free Epic Games Store game in May 2020. It includes both Borderlands 2 and Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel. Currently, the only main series Borderlands title Epic Games Store customers are missing is the original Borderlands, however, it is not available on the Epic Games Store as of this writing. Telltale Games’ spin-off, Tales from the Borderlands, is available on the Epic Games Store, but it hasn’t been given away for free yet.
