Is the Third Season of Gravity Falls in the Works?

Unfortunately, Alex Hirsch, the show’s creator, has no aspirations for a third season of the show. He made the statement that the second season of the animated series would be its final one in November of 2015.

As a side point, he indicated that Disney had not cancelled the show. It was only his opinion, and he had every right to have it. “Wierdmageddon 3: Take back the Falls” was the hour-long finale of the highly appreciated series that aired in February 2016. The Disney Channel also showed “Amphibian,” a show inspired by Gravity Falls. Matt Braly wrote, plotted, and directed it.

Bill Cipher, the antagonist from Gravity Fall, was revived by Hirsh for the Simpsons episode “Bart’s in Jail.” Because of this, there will be many more episodes and character introductions in the near future for fans to look forward to. In addition, Gravity Falls Season 3 will not be brought back by Hirsh.

With the support of Stan and the rest of the Mystery Shack’s inmates (as well as some unusual creatures), the party battled back against Bill. While they recaptured the town, a final encounter with Bill left the Pines family dead and distraught.
