Indiana’s AG Initiates an Investigation Into the Doctor Who Performed an Abortion on a 10-year-old Girl!

The Indiana doctor who said she gave a 10-year-old an abortion after the girl was raped is now being investigated by the state’s Attorney General.

Indiana AG Dr. Caitlin Bernard, an OB-GYN with two clinics in Indiana, was referred to by Todd Rokita as an “abortion activist posing as a doctor” with a “history of failing to disclose” criminal acts.

Dr. Caitlin Bernard was required by Indiana law to disclose the abortion and/or the abuse, and we are awaiting the appropriate paperwork to see if both were reported, said pro-life Republican Rokita in a statement released Thursday.

“Failure to do so is a crime in Indiana, and her conduct may impact her license. In addition, if a HIPAA breach did occur, this may also effect the next stages. I shall never cease my quest of the truth.”

Indiana AG launches 10-year-old abortion

The action is the most recent development in a story that has sparked international criticism. Weeks after the Supreme Court overruled Roe v. Wade, Bernard told the Indianapolis Star that an Ohio trigger legislation compelled the six-weeks-and-three-days pregnant girl to cross state lines to obtain an abortion. Last Friday, President Biden raged against the Supreme Court’s decision due to her assertions.

“Ten years old, raped, six weeks pregnant, already traumatized, was forced to travel to another state,” Biden said. “Imagine being that little girl.”

The authenticity of Bernard’s accusations, however, was called into question when no Ohio rape report for a 10-year-old girl could be located. On Wednesday, illegal immigrant Gershon Fuentes, 27, of Columbus was charged with raping and impregnating the child.

A day before Fuentes’ arrest on Tuesday, Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost told Fox News that there was “not a whiff of evidence” that a 10-year-old child had just been raped in the state.

Yost further argued that the youngster “did not need to leave Ohio to receive treatment” since the state’s heartbeat statute permits exceptions such as this.

But on Thursday, Ohio’s Legislative Service Commission said in a letter that, with only two exceptions, the state has banned all abortions, no matter how the baby was conceived or how old the mother is. 1) When a foetal heartbeat can’t be found, which is usually around six weeks, and 2) To keep a pregnant woman from dying or being seriously hurt.

In the case of the 10-year-old girl, it is not known if a foetal heartbeat was found.

Since 2017, Bernard, who is 37 years old and lives with her husband in a small two-story house just outside of Indianapolis, has been in more than 20 print and broadcast media outlets to support abortion rights.

But since her story has been questioned, she hasn’t answered questions from the media, including The Post, about what happened or if she told authorities that the child was raped. The Post also went to one of the Indianapolis clinics where she works on Wednesday but was told she was not there. After Fuentes’ arrest, Bernard finally broke her silence.

“My heart breaks for all survivors of sexual assault and abuse,” Bernard said in a tweet. “I am so sad that our country is failing them when they need us most. Doctors must be able to give people the medical care they need, when and where they need it.”

The Columbus Dispatch says that Fuentes admitted that he had sexually abused the child at least twice. The lead reporter, Bethany Bruner, tweeted that she was the only reporter in the courtroom when he was arraigned, but it wasn’t clear how many other reporters could have known about the case.

Megan Fox, a reporter for PJMedia.com, said in a series of tweets that started on July 5 that she asked the Columbus Police Department for information about the rape but was told there was no report of the crime.

During Fuentes’ arraignment, a detective said that the 10-year-mother old’s told local child services about the situation on June 22. This is when the police found out about the situation. The child was then taken to Indiana, where she had an abortion on June 30. The detective confirmed this.
