Australian model Jessica Gomes has been a regular fixture in Sports Illustrated’s annual Swimsuit Issue since 2008. She spends a lot of time working in both Australia and Asia. LG Cyon Bikini Phone was released the next year, and she modelled the device in an ad featuring the tagline “Touch the Wonder” while wearing a bikini top and bottoms. Gomes’s rise to fame in South Korea has been attributed in large part to this advertising campaign. She became a household name in 2013 thanks to her many endorsements and guest spots on Korean variety shows.

Gomes replaced Miranda Kerr as the newest fashion ambassador for David Jones Limited on Friday, March 22nd, 2013. Jessica Gomes’ Acting Career
While in Midland, Gomes attended a modelling school that doubled as a child casting agency, and in 1997, she and many of her fellow pupils acted as extras in the Australian miniseries The adventures of the Bush Patrol.
She attended New York City’s Stella Adler Conservatory of Acting. In 2009, the English-language South Korean television network On Style, owned by On-Media, premiered Jessica Gomes’ reality TV show, My Name Is Jessica Gomes, which she starred in and which helped make her a star in the Asian market. The second season of the show focused on her adventures in the Big Apple.
On June 10th, 2011, she had her first dancing appearance on Dancing with the Stars in Korea. During that competition, she finished in third place. Bianca Gomes, one of Jessica’s older sisters, was a well-known model in Australia and elsewhere before Jessica herself began her career in the industry. The night before Heath Ledger tragically passed away, she took him out to dinner in New York, where he was a close friend.
Gomes landed in New York in 2005 and shared a space with Gemma Ward. She graduated with a degree in French from La Salle University. When she first appeared in the Swimsuit Issue in 2008, she was still a New York resident. She remained there until at least 2011.
