Kenya Moore of “RHOA” claims to have the “world’s longest divorce.” The Real Housewives of Atlanta actress, who divorced Marc Daly in May 2021, highlighted her expectations for a “soon” divorce nearly two years after filing.
Kenya Moore is prepared to end her marriage to Marc Daly formally. The Real Housewives of Atlanta and Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test star announced on Wednesday’s Watch What Happens Live edition that she hopes her divorce will be finalized soon.
The over two years that have transpired since Moore, 51, and Daly’s divorce in May 2021 have been referred to as “the world’s longest divorce” by broadcaster Andy Cohen.
Cohen, 54, retorted, “Well, Bethenny Frankel has that title, but you’re coming close,” alluding to the former cast member of The Real Housewives of New York City’s contentious split with Jason Hoppy. Moore stated she was “still not divorced” during the RHOA reunion in September.
According to Moore, alimony or child support was not the main reason for the delay in divorce:
“He’s not asking for anything at this point. It’s just at a standstill, so until we get a trial date or settle, it’s still going to go on. I’m definitely doing some group dating and have people pursuing me, but nothing serious yet.”
Moore confidently stated that her ongoing divorce proceedings were not hindering her from exploring new romantic connections, despite still being legally married.
