Magi Season 3: What We Know So Far (Latest Update)!

Most people think of Aladdin when they hear the name. The Walt Disney Company’s version of the Arabian prince is one of the most well-known. However, the character’s roots can be traced back to 16th-century folk tales that have been used as inspiration by many different people over the years.

It’s not just stories about the boy and his genie that have been made into manga and anime. The most popular is the “Magi” series. As in other versions of the story, Aladdin meets a genie and goes on a series of magical journeys in this one. His friends in this one are called Alibaba and Morgiana. Both of them are based on people from those old stories, too.

In 2012, a “Magi” TV show was made based on Shinobu Ohtaka’s manga of the same name. It ran until 2014. Many people want to go back to the original story, even though the show made a spin-off called “Magi: The Adventure of Sinbad.” Seven years is a long time to wait for the next one, but there might still be hope.

When will Magi Season 3 be released?

Late in 2021 or early in 2022 is when the third season of “Magi” is supposed to come out. But it could come out sooner than that. People say that Season 3 could come out as soon as October. Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, the release may have been pushed back. It’s still too early to tell if real-life events will cause more delays.

Severance Season 2: Release Date Confirmed by Apple Tv+ (Latest Update)!

However, knowing that “Magi” will be back on TV shortly is a good thing to look forward to. Many anime fans on Reddit thought the show’s on-screen adventures were over with the last season of “Magi: Adventure of Sinbad.”

Another possible reason for the delay could be that the project is very big. Magic Season 3 has a bigger budget, which means that the creators have been taking their time making sure the show has a lot of scope and scale.

Who will be in the next season of Magi?

“Magi” Season 3 hasn’t been announced yet, but the original voice actors will likely return to their roles. Aladdin was played by Kaori Ishihara, who has also worked on “Digimon Adventure tri.” Fans hope she’ll reprise her role. This has been a busy year for Ishihara so far. She has voiced “Combatants Will Be Dispatched,” “Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid,” “Black Clover,” and “Higehiro.” Hopefully, she’s found time in her schedule to watch “Masi.”

It is a good thing if Yuki Kaji, who voiced Alibaba in the series, comes back for the third season. He will be a big help. When “Magi” came to an end, his popularity grew even more. Since then, he has been in shows and movies that show the best of anime.

Haruka Tomatsu, who played Morgiana, was the last member of the main cast to appear in the last episode of this show. Another big year for her was in 2021 when she appeared in shows like “Horimiya” and “Peach Boy Riverside.” She’s bound to have some unfinished business in the “Magi” universe that she needs to take care of. For now, no evidence shows that they won’t be there when the movie comes out.

What is Magi Season 3 all about?

At this point, very little is known about the plot of “Magi” Season 3. Aladdin will likely continue his journey around the world, meeting all kinds of people, both friends, and enemies. In the first place, the series is about having fun, and the third installment is sure to have a lot of it.

Studio A-1 Pictures hasn’t given us any big news at the time of this writing, but viewers can probably expect more mature storytelling as the show has become more daring with its stories. War, politics, and social deprivation all came up in the second season, which made the storylines more morally grey. A new show can take more risks now that the characters seem to be older and wiser in the next one.

The previous seasons also used parts from many stories in the “1001 Arabian Nights” collection, which originally featured Aladdin’s adventures. There are still a lot of ideas from that source material that can be used to make an exciting adventure-themed anime like “Magi.” Season 3 is sure to keep up this tradition.
