In Massachusetts Fire Destroys Million Dollar Building Near Golf Course. House in Topsfield, MA, close to the Golf Course, is home to a million-dollar mansion that was recently damaged by a fire. The residence was situated near a golf course in a private country club.
According to Topsfield incident Chief Jenifer Collins-Brown, the incident at 82 Coppermine Road was first reported at 5 p.m. on Friday. The solid flames and smoke from the four-alarm fire completely destroyed the house, leaving the chimney standing.

The fire chief said,
“The fire had quite a start on us. As the fire got hotter and the heat radiated to the grass, golf course, the leaves, those started to catch on fire. But we deployed resources to combat that.”
On April 14, 2023, a four-alarm fire completely burned the home at 82 Coppermine Road in the Topsfield, Massachusetts neighborhood of Ferncroft Estates. Collins-Brown stated that the inquiry into the fire’s origin is ongoing but that maintenance had been performed on the home before the blaze.
