According to Topsfield incident Chief Jenifer Collins-Brown, the incident at 82 Coppermine Road was first reported at 5 p.m. on Friday. The solid flames and smoke from the four-alarm fire completely destroyed the house, leaving the chimney standing.

Steve Kouroubacalis, a nearby resident, remarked, It looked like something you see in the movies. It was not real. According to Collins-Brown, no one was home when the fire started, and the house was utterly destroyed before firefighters arrived. These updates outbreaked through WCVB.

“The fire had quite a start on us. As the fire got hotter and the heat radiated to the grass, golf course, the leaves, those started to catch on fire. But we deployed resources to combat that.”
