Neal Currey Death
Neal Currey, a former Army Ranger and influential figure in the weapons industry, passed away recently at the age of 42. His wife, Casey Nichelle Currey, made a statement on social media in which she not only confirmed the news but also uploaded a photo of her husband with their children and other family members. This was the caption for the post:
“It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of our beloved Neal Currey on September 10, 2022. He was a gem to all of us. To get to know Neal was to fall in love with him. We have suffered the loss of a fantastic friend, brother, parent, son, and husband. Without Neal in our lives, things will never be the same for any of us. At the end of the message, Casey mentioned that funeral preparations were being made and that information on them would be made public shortly. She remarked that they would miss him terribly, and it was clear that many people were profoundly affected by his passing.
The reason for Currey’s passing has not been disclosed just yet, and additional information regarding the matter is now being awaited. The family of Currey has started a GoFundMe campaign in the hopes of raising money to meet the expenses associated with the funeral and other related costs. There have already been donations of $6,395 donated to the page, which has a goal of collecting $250,000.

Who Was Neal Currey?
Neal Currey established Ready Gunner, now of the nation’s best-known gun stores. In the 1950s, Currey’s grandfather Jack started a whitewater guide service on the San Juan River in southern Utah, using balsa wood rafts. Big rivers still see regular rafting traffic. Steve, Neal’s dad, took up the family guiding company in Idaho and led clients down the Selway and Middle Fork of the Salmon River. When Neal Currey was young, he tagged along on his father’s river expeditions, and by the time he was 24, he had visited all seven continents with the military. After starting at the age of 14, according to Neal, he rowed baggage boats. He spent around a decade helping out in the family business before plotting out his next move. What he stated was
The event occurred after September 11. The same feeling of wanting to do something that I’m sure most Americans felt came over me after hearing that. This irritated me. I wished to contribute to the defense of my nation. Soon after Currey signed his Option 40 contract with the Army, he was enlisted in the 75th Ranger Regiment. After graduating from Ranger School, he enrolled in the 75th Ranger Regiment’s Pre-Ranger Course for three weeks before being assigned to the 2nd Ranger Batallion. He set a goal to finish the remaining land navigation section in 24 to 36 hours so that he could take a break at home.
Before Neal Currey could return to the 2nd Ranger Battalion from Afghanistan, his father was stricken with stage 4 cancer. After finishing everything in two days, he returned to Utah to bury his father. While serving with the JSOC, he led combat raids. Specialized Reconnaissance Assault Transport Systems hired Currey after his military service to serve as a project manager and consultant (SRATS). After a while, he began working as a contract employee with Triple Canopy on the Counter Assault Team, primarily in foreign countries. After some deliberation, he decided to operate a gun store in Utah and apply for a federal gun license. Presently, Ready Gunner is a 20,000-square-foot facility with a wide variety of shooting lanes and a schedule of twenty classes each month.
