In the face of jokes about his first pitch attempt, Steve Aoki has posted a behind-the-scenes video of it.
So, he’s sticking with his regular job.
The Boston Red Sox faced the Houston Astros at Fenway Park on Monday night, and Steve Aoki threw out the first pitch. As it turned out, the “Save Me” DJ was a little off-pitch.

The first pitch at Citi Field in 2014 drew comparisons to the infamous Aoki throw, with some joking that the 44-year-throw old’s has dethroned 50 Cent.
One upped by Steve Aoki for the worst pitch of all time, Barstool Sports tweeted.
“Steve Aoki threw out maybe one of the worst first pitches I’ve ever seen,” quipped another Twitter user.
That doesn’t mean, however, that the pop star isn’t having a good time with the joke.
To share his experience at Fenway Park with his 3 million YouTube subscribers, Aoki made a video titled “My FAILED 1st Pitch for Boston Red Sox.”
To his credit, Aoki admitted in the video that he had failed to reach the plate on his previous two attempts.

When Aoki threw the first pitch at Fenway Park, it wasn’t his first time doing so. During the Los Angeles Dodgers’ game against the Colorado Rockies in 2015, he was invited to perform and throw the first pitch.
