Need for Speed 3: Hot Pursuit gets Unreal Engine 5 treatment & it’s amazing

The developers at Criterion Games are keeping the latest Need for Speed game a secret.

Fans of video games don’t know much about a new release that was teased for this year, other than some recently leaked but unconfirmed footage.

Some people think that the game’s release date has been pushed back because of a switch to a next-generation console, while others think that the game is almost ready to come out.

David Kerekes, on the other hand, has taken matters into his own hands and made an impressive remake of Hot Pursuit in which he remade both the Hometown and Atlantica levels.

David called these the “two working levels” at the moment, which could be a hint that there are more that aren’t quite ready yet.

Fans of video games can’t download this remake, which is a shame.

I’m sure most Need for Speed fans would love to get their hands on a copy, as improvements to the lighting, shadows, and reflections make it look very nice.

Fans spoke up right away to say what they thought of the amazing remake. One user named La Roux Vermeulen said, “Perfect way to bring these classic games back to life. The original retro style was kept on purpose, but that lighting made it look more modern. Perfection.”

No one knows when the next installment of the Need for Speed series will come out, but if this remake was available to play, it would do!
