Tekno Miles, also known as Tekno, was born Augustine Miles Kelechi on December 17, 1992, in Bauchi State, but raised in Ivo Local Government Area, Ebonyi State, Nigeria. Tekno was raised with six siblings, five brothers and one sister.
Tekno’s father used to work in the Nigerian Army, so he travelled all over the country to different cities, particularly in northern Nigerian states like Nasarawa, Kaduna, and Abuja.

Tekno’s music career began in 2012. A well-known Nigerian comedian named Julius Agwu found him after he got a standing ovation for his remix of Ice Prince’s song Oleku, called “Onye Ne Kwu.”
