Russia’ Ukraine War: the Drone Attack on Moscow

Andrei Vorobyov, the region governor, claims four drones en route to Moscow have been shot down. According to the mayor, many drone attacks have been made on the Russian capital, causing property damage but no casualties.

There was no harm. There were reports this morning that a drone strike had destroyed multiple structures. Still, Moscow On Tuesday, Mayor Sergei Sobyanin issued a statement that the city’s emergency services were on high alert.

No significant injuries have been recorded as of yet. Drone strikes have been routine in other parts of Russia, but the capital of Moscow, which is more than 1,000 kilometers (620 miles) from the conflict in Ukraine, has mostly escaped them.

The governor of the Moscow region, Andrei Vorobyov, claimed on a Telegram channel that five drones were shot down as they approached Moscow, but such attacks are extremely rare.

There were unidentified unmanned aircraft.

RIA, Russia’s national news agency, said that a building in the southern part of Moscow’s Prosoyuznaya Street was being evacuated of some of its tenants.

Social media videos allege that the drone was shot down and crashed into a large building, leaving debris behind.
