In addition to being one of “Rolling Stone” magazine’s top 100 drummers of all time, Travis Barker is a well-known musician thanks to his work with Blink-182 and his current relationship with socialite and reality television star Kourtney Kardashian.
On November 14, 1975, Barker was born in Fontana, California. His mother gave him his first drum set when he was 4, and he also learned to play the trumpet and piano at a young age.
Barker contemplated a career as a professional surfer or skateboarder before settling on the drums and joining the band Snot, Feeble, and Aquabats right out of high school. Blink-182 asked Barker to replace their drummer during Travis’ time with the latter band, and Barker accepted the offer.
As of 1998, Barker was the band’s permanent drummer, and the group’s 1999 album “Enema of the State,” which featured the hit singles “All the Small Things,” “What’s My Age Again?” and “Adam’s Song,” was a critical and commercial success. Barker was the drummer for the band.
Barker and Blink-182 went on to release five more albums after establishing themselves as one of the most important pop-punk bands: “Take Off Your Pants and Jacket” in 2001, “Blink-182” in 2003, “Neighborhoods” in 2011, “California” in 2016, and “Nine” in 2019.

Transplants and Other Barker Side Projects
With Blink-182 and other musical projects, such as +44, TRV$D JAM, and Box Car Racer, the drummer has also released a solo album in 2011 called “Give the Drummer Some” in addition to his work with Blink-182.
Apart from the record label he founded in 2004, Barker also launched his clothing line Famous Stars and Straps in 1999, as well as published his autobiography last year (2015).
Acting credits include “American Pie,” “Two Guys, a Girl, And A Pizza Place,” “CSI: Crime Scene Investigation,” as well as the reality series “Meet the Barkers” with his ex-wife and ex-Miss USA Shanna Moakler and their three children, from which he divorced in 2008.
