Usher Super Bowl LVIII Performance To Light Up Halftime Spectacle!

Usher will be the main act at Super Bowl LVIII, which will be held in Las Vegas, Nevada. Apple Music shared the news Sunday morning on X, a social media site that used to be called Twitter.

“It’s an honor of a lifetime to finally check a Super Bowl performance off my bucket list. I can’t wait to bring the world a show unlike anything else they’ve seen from me before,” Usher said, according to Variety. “Thank you to the fans and everyone who made this opportunity happen. I’ll see you real soon.”

Usher said during an Apple Music show about the halftime headliner that there are many more Sundays to talk about who might join him on stage.

Rihanna performed at last year’s Super Bowl LVII halftime show in Arizona, where she showed off her second pregnancy to the world. TMZ said that nearly 119 million people watched, and the Federal Communications Commission got more than 100 complaints after the big game. Many of the complaints said that the show was “overtly s*xual.”

Check out this other news article we covered recently:

“We are thrilled to bring Super Bowl LVIII to Las Vegas,” National Football League Executive Vice President, Club Business, Major Events, and International Peter O’Reilly said in a press release. “This city is a capital of sports and entertainment, always providing an incredible high-energy atmosphere for our events. We look forward to continuing the work with our local partners to provide an extraordinary experience for the Las Vegas community and show fans around the world what this city has to offer.”

The Daily Mail says that Taylor Swift turned down the chance to play at Super Bowl LVIII because she was too busy with her Eras world tour. She hasn’t said anything about the choice in public.

The game will be played on February 11, 2024, at Las Vegas, Nevada’s Allegiant Stadium.
