She dated Orlando Bloom, an actor, from 2002 to 2005. Midway through 2011, she started dating American director Michael Polish, whom she had met earlier that year while working with him on a film in Big Sur. They became engaged in August 2012 and were married on August 31, 2013, in Philipsburg, Montana.
Last month, there was speculation that Long had proposed to Bosworth after she was seen wearing a ring at the Vanity Fair Oscars after-party. Bosworth and her now ex-husband Michael Polish announced their divorce in August 2021, after being married for ten years. Bosworth said that they broke up because of “irreconcilable differences.”
